Our employment law practice includes a full range of counseling and litigation services representing both employers and employees. This includes acting as trial and appellate counsel in court and arbitration proceedings; counseling employers about employee discipline and termination; counseling employers about employment practices and handbooks; and negotiation and litigation over employment contracts, including non-competes, confidentiality agreements, and non-solicitation agreements.

We have participated in both single party and multiple party cases arising from plant layoffs, including the analysis of statistical evidence of discrimination; cases involving claims of discrimination arising from disability, age, sex, race, sexual harassment; the use of employee benefits arising under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and retaliation claims based on these theories; and claims based on state and federal wage and hour laws and the Family Medical Leave Act.
